On June 21, 2025, our school celebrated International Yoga
Day with great enthusiasm, marking a significant event in our
academic calendar. The day is observed annually to raise
awareness about the numerous benefits of practicing yoga, and
our school's celebration was a testament to our commitment to
holistic education. The program began after a morning assembly,
where students spoke about the significance of yoga in daily
life, highlighting its importance in maintaining physical and
mental well-being.
The students' presentations showcased their understanding of
yoga's benefits, from improved flexibility and balance to
enhanced concentration and reduced stress. The assembly set the
tone for a day of learning and practice, inspiring students to
adopt yoga as a way of life. Following the assembly, a group
yoga session was led by trained instructors, Miss Pushpa Lata
and Miss Sunita Devi, who guided students through various asanas
and breathing techniques.
The yoga session was a highlight of the celebration, with
students enthusiastically participating and experiencing the
physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of yoga. The
instructors' expertise and patience ensured that students of all
levels could participate and benefit from the session. As the
day concluded, it was evident that the International Yoga Day
celebration had a profound impact on our students, promoting
awareness about the importance of yoga in daily life and
inspiring them to incorporate its principles into their lives.
