A comprehensive Life Skills Development Program was
organized to empower students from sixth to ninth standards with
essential life skills for academic, personal, and professional
success. The program, led by MSC psychological students from
Claret College, aimed to build confidence, self-awareness, and
interpersonal effectiveness among the students. Through a
variety of interactive and experiential activities, students
were able to understand theoretical concepts and apply them in
real-life academic and personal contexts.
The program was divided into five interactive sessions, covering
a range of topics such as creative thinking, health and hygiene,
interpersonal communication, self-care, goal setting, coping
with emotions, academic strategies, communication skills,
digital safety, and body image. The session began at 10:00 AM
and concluded at 3:30 PM, divided into two sessions: morning and
afternoon. This structure allowed for a comprehensive and
engaging learning experience, fostering holistic development and
greater confidence in students.
By acquiring essential life skills, students are better equipped
to tackle everyday challenges with ease and succeed in their
academic, personal, and professional lives. The program's
interactive approach enabled students to develop a deeper
understanding of themselves and others, preparing them to
navigate the complexities of life with confidence and
resilience. Overall, the Life Skills Development Program was a
valuable experience for the students, providing them with the
tools and skills necessary to thrive in all aspects of life.
