‘Coming together is the beginning. Keeping together is
progress. Working together is a success, and that is what we
call a Team work’.
Under the glistening sun and the pleasant evening breeze, the
grounds and portals of St Anthony’s Chruch School,
Gangondanahalli, welcomed one and all for the Annual Day
Celebrations held on Thursday, 22nd December 2022, with open
arms and joyous hearts.
At first, the chief guest of the event – Mr. Clifford Pereira,
The Director, TV 9 Groups, Bengaluru, accompanied by Fr. Robin
D’Souza –The President of the function, Fr. Vijay, the Manager
of the School, Sr. Sheila, The Superior of St. Anthony’s
Convent, Mrs. Premalatha, the CRP of Attiguppe Cluster, Dr.
Shaziya, the Parent representative, were given a thumping and
resounding welcome by the symphonic rhythm of the School Band.
The formal programme commenced with a graceful prayer dance
performance by the students.
‘Time our most Precious Resource’ was the accorded theme of this
year’s annual day celebrations. The chief guest along with the
other dignitaries, inaugurated the annual theme by lighting the
lamp. Fr. Anil Dcosta, the administrator of the school, extended
a cordial welcome to the esteemed guests and the parents.
The Annual school report is the crowning glory of any annual day
event. Fr. Richard Kadiwal, the Principal, presented the Annual
School Report, with skillful eloquence outlining the school’s
accomplishments in various Academic and Co-curricular
events/sports and other disciplines, as well as the school’s
future plans.
‘Success is the result of perseverance and perfection’. Students
who excelled in academics and sports disciplines were awarded
with cash prizes, trophies, and certificates. The school also
felicitated the guests, the incharges teachers, the donors, and
the local manager of the waste management under the umbrella of
BBMP, for their incredible service to the children and the
society in their respective fields.
Talent is a gift that everyone is blessed with. The students of
St. Anthony’s School put on their dancing shoes and came to the
fore with their acting skills by performing various programmes
during the Cultural fiesta of the Annual day.
The students skilfully enacted an English skit “Time the
precious pearl”. Apart from all the foot-tapping dances
presented by the kindergarten, pre-primary and primary grade
students, the real icing on the celebratory cake was the Korean
fan dance, Spanish dance, retro-metro dance, and the tribal
dance that was performed with great perfection, and the tribute
to Appu sir (Puneeth), Monsoon Raga, and the Bahubali dance was
the proverbial cherry on the top.
The programme was an amalgamation of various hues benefiting the
theme wondrously. The thematic show of talent, imagination, and
organization was the essence of the evening. Our students danced
to the tune of songs with colourful props. The audience was
enthralled by a colourful and very well-directed dance drama.
The theme-based dances both Western and Folk dances, captivated
the guests. The props and costumes added colour to the festive
occasion with the synchronized dance moves to the foot-tapping
music.
Overall, the Annual Day Celebrations of St. Anthony’s Church
School was a grand success and was much appreciated by the
Guests, Parents and Well-wishers
