“Good teachers are the reason why ordinary students
dream to do extraordinary things”. The above words hold
very true of the teachers of St. Anthony’s School,
Gangondanahalli. The love and dedication of teachers was
beautifully acknowledged by the students in a creative way.
A warm welcome at the school gate with flowers, and tastefully
decorated ‘ENTRANCE’ was pleasant surprise for all the teachers.
Teacher’s day was celebrated with lot of zeal and enthusiasm at
St. Anthony’s School premises on the 5th of September, 2022.
Indeed, it was a remarkable day and moment of joy for all the
teachers, the concept being a teacher is much more satisfying
and heart-warming.
The key note address was delivered by the Correspondent of the
School, Rev. Fr. Vijay Kumar, was an icing on a cake, who in his
speech admonished the children on how to respect and show regard
to the teachers and parents. He also reiterated the thoughts and
values of Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan.
The students presented series of fun and entertaining events for
the teachers. They personally offered handmade cards and rose
buds to all the teachers. Fun filled games were planned at the
school ground which reminded the teachers of their school days
and made them feel nostalgic. They also showcased many
scintillating dance performances, on some peppy numbers which
highlighted the heart warming relationship between a teacher and
a student. Fr. Richard Kadiwal the Head Master, Fr. Anil DCosta
and Fr. Lourdswamy were present for the programme.
