Rev. Fr. Charles Furtado, Secretary of Capuchin Education
Board, visited St. Anthony's Church school on 3rd March 2026,
inaugurating the science exhibition and attending the local body
administrative meeting. The day began with a disciplined morning
assembly, showcasing students' talents through skits, songs, and
speeches, followed by a warm welcome from the principal and
staff.
Fr. Charles shared an inspiring story, encouraging students,
especially 10th standarders, to prepare well for their board
exams. He stressed the importance of leveraging school resources
and facilities to achieve academic excellence, emphasizing
critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. His
interaction with staff was productive, discussing strategies to
enhance teaching methods, student support, and innovative
learning approaches.
The science exhibition was a highlight, featuring projects like
'Eco-Friendly Solutions' and 'Robotics Innovations', showcasing
students' creativity and scientific temper. Fr. Charles praised
the efforts, encouraging students to push boundaries. His visit
included a thorough tour of the school, interacting with
students and staff, and offering valuable feedback. The visit
was a motivating experience, inspiring staff and students to
strive for excellence.
