A session on protecting wildlife was organised for higher
primary students at St. Anthony Church School on 17th January
2026 in the school auditorium. Mr Praveen from People for
Animals Wildlife Hospital was the resource person. He
highlighted the importance of protecting wildlife and domestic
animals, explaining how human activities impact their habitats
and what students can do to help.
The session was highly interactive, with students listening
actively and participating eagerly. Mr Praveen guided them on
caring for pets - providing proper food, shelter, and medical
care. He also shared information about animal rescue centres and
wildlife hospitals where injured or abandoned animals can be
taken for help. The session effectively created awareness among
students about their responsibility towards wild animals and the
importance of kindness towards all creatures. Overall, it was
informative, meaningful, and beneficial for the students
