The 79th Independence Day celebration held in the school
grounds was a grand success, with active participation from the
high school students! The program began with a grand march past
by the students, setting the tone for a patriotic and memorable
event.
The presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Chief Guest
Shri Praveen Peter MLC candidate, Rev. Fr. Richard Kariwal the
Principal, Rev. Fr. Anthony Raj, Rev. Fr. Michael, Rev. Fr
Lutswami, and Mis. Rose Sagaya Mary, added gravitas to the
occasion. The ceremony of hoisting the national flag was a
highlight, with the dignitaries unfolding the tricolor with
great honor and reverence.
As the national anthem was sung, the patriotic spirit was
palpable, and the sight of the fluttering tricolor inspired a
sense of unity and belongingness among all present. The cultural
program, featuring patriotic songs and dances, added vibrancy to
the occasion, while the speeches delivered emphasized the
sacrifices of freedom fighters and the responsibilities of
citizens.
